Taylor & Michael met at Christopher Newport University. They were both in the business fraternity Alpha Kappa PSI. Their engagement journey began one day when Taylor & Michael had plans to go to Vanish Brewery with family and friends. They were all having a great time drinking beer, chatting, when Michael asked Taylor to go on a walk with their dog Harper. Michael started to tell Taylor how much he loved her, when Harper doing what dogs do, decided to go to the bathroom pausing the big moment for them. Micheal then again had to build up the courage to ask Taylor. He got down on one knee and pulled out a stunning rose gold vintage band with Taylor’s grandmas diamond she left for her. So romantic, and sweet!
Taylor & Micheal are just as cute of a couple, as their engagement story! Joel had a great time shooting their engagement session. The location was perfect, a small town Historic in Leesburg Virginia. They brought their dog Harper to join the fun! It was a super cold winter day 17 degrees! Taylor & Michael were amazing no complaining, dressed in layers to go outside for photos. We loved the vests, and scarfs, and even the black and white checkered shaw Taylor wore as they bundled together for photos. How great is the family photo with Taylor, Micheal, and Harper!
